Witness appeal following hit-run in Box Hill

Investigators have been told a man was struck by a car as he attempted to cross Rose Street about 8.15pm on Saturday 16 September.
The 92-year-old Box Hill man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
He is now in a stable condition and remains in hospital receiving treatment.
The man was accompanied by an elderly woman at the time of the collision who was uninjured.
The offending vehicle, which is described as similar to a small SUV or station wagon, did not stop at the scene of the collision and continued north along Rose Street.
Investigators from Nunawading Highway Patrol have released CCTV of a vehicle they wish to identify.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or recalls seeing the vehicle around the time of the incident, to come forward.
