Minister for Education James Merlino today announced $8.9 million to provide additional classrooms to help address enrolment pressures created by the state’s expanding population.
Nine modern double-storey classrooms will be installed and open for students in the nine selected schools by Term 1, 2019.

It is anticipated that the 2018-19 relocatable building program will create around 120 jobs in manufacturing and related industries.
The Labor Government is building the Education State so that every Victorian gets the opportunity for a great education and every community has access to a great school.
The project is part of a $3.8 billion investment by the Labor Government to improve classrooms, upgrade facilities and build new schools.
This school building boom has delivered more than 1,300 school upgrades and 70 new school projects across the state, supporting almost 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
