This year the Lunch and Dance will be held on Tuesday 9 October at a new venue – the Sheldon Reception & Convention Centre, 608-614 Somerville Road, Sunshine West.

The event will run from 11.30am until 3pm. Doors open at 11.30am sharp, no access to the venue will be provided prior to this time.

There is no charge for the lunch but tickets are limited.

The event is part of the Brimbank Seniors Festival which will be held in October, alongside the Victorian Seniors Festival.

Local seniors will have from 3 to 21 September to fill in an online application form to go into a ballot to secure their ticket to the dance. Maximum of one (1) entry per person, multiple entries will not be accepted.

The ballot system was introduced in 2017 to ensure the fair distribution of tickets to this popular event, and save seniors from having to wait in line to secure a seat.

Complete and submit your form online on Council’s website at brimbank.vic.gov.au/seniors2018.

Applications open on Monday September 3, and the ballot will close on Thursday 20 September at 12 noon.

Please note, completion of an application form does not guarantee your attendance at this event.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of the ballot on Friday 28 September 2018.
