Trio arrested and power tools recovered at Brunswick

Fawkner Divisional Response Unit investigators have arrested three men following the execution of a warrant in Brunswick this morning.


    Police executed the warrant at a residential property and located about 50 power tools.

    It’s alleged the power tools were stolen from a Brunswick construction site earlier this morning.

    Three men were arrested at the home.

    A 52-year old Brunswick man has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 20 December charged with handling stolen goods.

    A 35-year-old man of no fixed address has also been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 20 December charged with possessing steroids and possessing proceeds of crime.

    The third man, a 55-year-old from Brunswick, was arrested on warrants and will appear at Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court today.

    Investigators are hoping to return the power tools to their owners later today.
