Police investigate assault and threats to kill in Mill Park

It is believed a girl was walking west along the bike path in Border Drive when she walked past a man who then began to follow her about 4.30pm on Friday 23 March.
The victim, a 17-year-old girl, upon reaching the parklands was grabbed by the man from behind, covering her mouth and telling her to be quiet. The girl began to struggle and the man made threats to kill her if she did not remain quiet.
The struggle continued and the girl yelled out and the man who has ran off in a northerly direction under the railway line towards Calendula Circuit.
Investigators have released a composite digital image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
The male is said to have a limp and a raspy voice.
