Man arrested following Prahran aggravated burglary

Police have arrested a man following an alleged aggravated burglary in Prahran last night (4 August).

The incident occurred at a Bendigo street home when it is alleged the man forced his way in to the property just before midnight.
The victim was alerted that someone was inside the home and he locked the offender inside the bathroom and called 000.
Police attended within minutes and arrested the man.
A woman and two children who were also home at the time were un-injured.
The 35-year-old man, of no fixed address, has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on 6 August.
