Melton West fatal collision

It is understood the motorbike was travelling south along Bulmans Road about 6.45am when it turned onto High Street and veered onto the wrong side of the road, colliding with another car.
The male rider, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver of the car did not sustain injuries and stopped to assist.
Police are yet to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the collision, however have been told the rider may have been travelling in convoy with a second motorbike and a small black car.
Investigators have been told the second motorcyclist may not have been wearing a helmet at the time.
It is believed both vehicles did not stop at the scene and police are hoping to speak to the rider and driver.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are en route.
High Street is currently closed between Bulmans Road and Fairhaven Boulevard and motorists are advised to take alternative routes where possible.
