Detectives investigate sexual assault at Mooroolbark

Sexual Crimes Squad detectives are investigating the sexual assault of a woman at Mooroolbark on Christmas Eve last year.

Investigators have been told the woman was on Daymar Avenue between 8-10pm on Saturday 24 December 2016.
As the woman was leaning into the driver’s side of her car, which was parked on the street, an unknown man approached from behind and sexually assaulted her.
The man ran away after nearby dogs began barking.
Investigators have released digital composite images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
