Shots fired in South Yarra

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a number of shots were fired in South Yarra this morning.

It is believed two or more unknown males were involved in a dispute on Claremont Street about 4am.
Two men were standing at a red hatchback when it’s believed a firearm has been produced and discharged.
Both men fled north on foot in Claremont Street, before driving away in a red sedan.
The initial red sedan was also driven away by an unknown person.
Detectives believe one of the unknown men may be injured.
