Police will keep an eye out for offenders while a Passive Alert Detection (PAD) dog operation will be conducted at the event.
The operation, which will involve members patrolling entry points to the festival, aims to deter and detect individuals with illicit drugs.
Senior Constable Dylan Tate warned offenders that they would have nowhere to hide.
“While we expect the majority of festival attendees will do the right thing, we have zero tolerance for illegal activity,” he said.
“Anyone bringing illicit drugs to the festivals can expect a swift police response.”
Police will also monitor the event for any anti-social behaviour and alcohol related issues.
SC Tate urged attendees to plan their trip in advance and ensure people paid attention to their own safety and the safety of others.
“Use public transport where needed and look out for your mates. We want everyone to get home safely.”
