Police call for witnesses to Bellfield assault

Heidelberg police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Bellfield on 12 July.

An 85 year-old Bellfield man was walking along Skeffington Street when he was approached by a man about 3.00pm.
The 85 year-old was struck once by the male offender and fell to the ground. He was later treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The offender left immediately, heading toward Bell Street, and is believed to be local to the area.
