Man arrested following Collingwood robbery

Investigators have been told a man walked into the Johnston Street premises about 2.40pm on 5 July to collect a package.
It is alleged he produced a false Victorian driver’s licence before jumping over the counter and assaulting the attendant.
He then snatched the package and left the store.
Detectives this morning executed a search warrant at an address on Mark Street, North Melbourne.
A 33-year-old man was arrested at the scene and will be interviewed shortly.
The man is expected to be charged with robbery, aggravated burglary, burglary, theft, use false document and commit indictable offence while on bail.
He will likely be direct presented to Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
