Emergency services were called to the Clive Street address just after 12.30am.

Upon arrival it was established two women live in the house.

One female escaped through the front door and was taken to hospital for observation.

A search of the premises resulted in firefighters locating a deceased female in her bedroom.

The woman is yet to be formally identified and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined at this stage.

Fire investigators are currently at the scene.
