Fatal collision in Sunshine North

A pedestrian has died following a collision in Sunshine North this evening.

It is believed the 83-year-old Sunshine North woman was crossing West Moreland Road about 6.30pm when she was struck by a car travelling north.
The 31-year-old male driver of the car stopped to render assistance and was not injured.
The woman was transported to hospital but died a short time later.
