Woman dies in hospital following Doncaster East crash

An elderly woman has died in hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Doncaster East last week.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Doncaster and Blackburn roads about 8.05pm on Saturday.
The driver of the silver Hyundai I30, a 58-year-old Donvale woman, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Her passenger, a 93-year-old Donvale woman, was also taken to hospital where she died this morning.
The driver of the black Mazda3, a 31-year-old Doncaster man, declined treatment at the scene.
Police will investigate the cause of the collision.
