Thefts at a supermarket chain in Melbourne

On at least 11 occasions an unknown man and woman have attended supermarkets in Box Hill, Carnegie, Chadstone, Forest Hill, Burwood East and Endeavour Hills.
They purchase various items, retain the receipts and return to the supermarket a short time later.
The pair steals the same items and get refunds using the receipts from previous purchases.
In the latest incident on 25 June about 7pm, the man entered a supermarket in Endeavour Hills with empty bags.
He filled the bags with goods and left it near the specials merchandise area.
A few minutes later the woman entered the store with a full bag and collected the bag that had been left by the man.
The woman lined up at the registers, produced a receipt which appeared genuine and received a refund.
Police have released images of a man and woman they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
The man is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance with a slim to medium build and short dark hair.
The woman is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance with a medium build and straight blond hair.
