Investigators have been told a 15-year-old Reservoir girl was walking to school at the rear of a Plenty Road shopping centre about 8.30am on Tuesday 22 August.

A unknown man was walking ahead of the girl in the same direction as they entered the complex from Outlon Crescent.

The man turned around to walk past the teenager, as they passed he attempted to indecently assault her and made an inappropriate comment.

The girl pushed the man’s hand away and he fled the scene, running back towards Outlon crescent.

Investigators have released CCTV of a man that they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be of Indian sub-continental appearance, aged in his 20s, and was wearing a fluoro-orange high visibility jumper, navy blue work pants, black boots and a black baseball cap.
