Kingsville theft and deception

Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have been told a wallet was stolen from a car parked in Kingsville.
The owner of the vehicle came out of his Kingsville Street residence on the morning of March 2 and noticed that the driver’s side window had been smashed and his wallet stolen.
Earlier that night security footage caught a man and a woman using credit cards, stolen from the victim’s wallet, at service stations in Braybrook and Maribyrnong.
The couple purchased drinks, food and cigarettes.
Police believe the pair may have been driving a silver Toyota Camry Sportif.
Investigators have released CCTV and images of a man and a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
