Brimbank Mayor Cr Margaret Giudice said Council wanted to hear from residents, businesses and artists to help shape a new Public Art Policy and Plan for Brimbank.
“We have some wonderful public art in Brimbank – from John Kelly’s Man lifting cow in Hampshire Road Sunshine, to the Seeds of Hopes and Dreams sculpture in St Albans Square, and the Spiral graph seat in Derrimut.
“Public art can be a powerful way to enhance our community spaces, foster local pride, and reflect our community’s diversity and heritage.
“The Public Art Policy and Plan will guide how we incorporate artwork into our public spaces across Brimbank – so this is a fantastic opportunity for people to have input in a topic that is close to many of our hearts.”
