“Council is committed to created high-quality parks and playgrounds that will cater for our growing community,” Cr Giudice said.
“This is an opportunity for people who use this park to provide feedback on the draft concept plans.
“As a Community First Council, we value community input and provide genuine opportunities for people to have their say.
“Brimbank Council is committed to meeting the open space needs of the Brimbank community by creating attractive and accessible parks and playgrounds.”
Proposed works at Green Gully Reserve include a landmark tower with five slides, swing set, balancing and climbing posts, nature play areas, refurbishment of picnic setting and seats, native bird sculptures, planting of canopy trees and low cover garden bed shrubs and flowers.
New public toilets are also scheduled at this reserve to replace the existing public toilets.

Cr Giudice said the upgrades were part of Council’s award-winning Creating Better Parks Policy and Plan, which has won seven awards over the years, from Parks & Leisure Australia, the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects and Planning Institute of Australia.
To date, Council has upgraded 99 parks at a cost of approximately $26.5m, under Creating Better Parks.
