Blacktown man charged over alleged possession of child exploitation material
- two counts of using a carriage service to access child pornography material contrary to the Criminal Code 1995 (Cth);
- and three counts of possess child abuse material contrary to the Crimes Act 1900 (NSW).

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) received a referral on 22 November 2017 from the US-based National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) alerting police to the man’s illegal activities.
Officer’s conducted two search warrants in Blacktown, Sydney today (17 January 2018) and seized electronic devices containing a large amount of child exploitation material.
Following the search warrant the man was charged with;
Police will allege the man uploaded child exploitation material online, including videos and images.
The man is scheduled to appear in the Blacktown Local Court on Thursday 18 January 2018.
