A garbage man was emptying the bin at the intersection of Young and Butler streets when he discovered the man’s body shortly after 8am.

Investigators are currently treating the man’s death as suspicious.

Despite following up a number of enquiries, detectives have been unable to determine the identity of the victim.

He is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance, aged in his mid-40s, about 171cm tall with a medium build, dark hair and an unshaven face.

He was wearing grey/blue Everlast tracksuits pants with two white stripes down the side, black Nike runners and a white t-shirt with a motif for Korean band Big Bang’s 2015 world tour that shows a hot rod and the five band members.
