Police investigate North Fitzroy assault

Fitzroy police are investigating following a sexual assault in a North Fitzroy street earlier this month.

Investigators have been told a woman was running along Queens Parade when an unknown man on a bicycle blocked her path about 1.30pm on 17 August.
The woman managed to get past the man who then managed to catch up to and sexually assault her.
The woman was not injured during the assault.
Police have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
