It is believed a male driving a blue sedan, with two female passengers, attended the Derrimut Road store about 5.55am on 27 December.

The females exit the parked car and walked away while the male approached the entry doors, looked inside, and returned to the car.

A short time later the man returned, wearing a balaclava, and armed with a hammer smashed his way into the store.

Once inside he ransacked an office area and stole a tips jar as he exited and got back into the car.

Two females dove into the back seat of the car before he drove away.

Investigators have released images of two females and a male police believe may be able to assist with their enquiries as well as a car believed to have been used during the burglary.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report to www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
