Brimbank City Council is proud to support Blind Sports Victoria to deliver the “Walking for Willpower” program.
Participants with vision impairment will be partnered with a trained volunteer who will assist them to go for walks in the natural environment.
The program will begin with a walk at Brimbank Park on Thursday 23 March 2017, starting at 10.30am. Following the tour, participants and volunteers will enjoy a lunch or coffee/tea together at the Brownstone Café.
Walking for Willpower will include four walks in areas of Brimbank and Melton – with an emphasis on walking, socialising and café dining.
Places are limited. There is no charge for the tour however participants will need to pay for their own coffee or lunch.
