Police Investigate Aggravated Burlgary & Vehicle Theft in Moonee Ponds

A man has forced entry to the residential premises on Maribyrnong Road while the occupants were sleeping and has taken a handbag containing a number of items including cards and keys to a vehicle parked at the address.

He then stole a 2008 Mazda 2, registration number WOZ 736.

Investigators have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be of Southern European appearance, unshaven with a solid build and dark coloured hair.

He was wearing a dark coloured Nike singlet top and black pants. It is believed the man has a tattoo on his right upper arm.
