Credit card used after theft from motor vehicle

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after credit cards were used that were stolen from a car in Prahran last month.

Investigators believe a parked car was broken into on Closeburn Avenue on Monday 21 May.

A credit card and other items were stolen, the cards subsequently used to buy cigarettes in Prahran, Fitzroy and CBD convenience stores.

Investigators have released images of a man and a woman they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
