Charges Following Armed Robberies in Bentleight East

Glen Eira Bayside Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following two armed robberies in Bentleigh East earlier this month.

The alleged incidents, which both occurred on Centre Road, are as follows:
- Armed robbery of taxi driver near Alexander Street on 16 February
- Armed robbery at service station near Box Court on 7 February
A 24-year-old Bentleigh East man has been charged with two counts of armed robbery and has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
