Brimbank’s popular In2Tennis program will be back in 2019 offering 10-days of free activities at tennis clubs across Brimbank from Friday 18 January to Sunday 27 January 2019.
Mayor of Brimbank, Cr Lucinda Congreve encouraged community members to get involved.
“In2Tennis is all about getting active and introducing the sport of tennis to the wider community.
“We’ve been running this event for three years now and it’s been very popular with people of all ages and abilities.
“In 2019 we have more than 30 activities planned throughout the 10-day event, kicking off with a Family Day on the 18th of January.
“There’s something for everyone, so if you have experience playing tennis or have never picked up a racquet before, rest assured there’ll be something for you to enjoy,” Cr Congreve said.
The In2Tennis Family Day will be held on Friday 18 January 2019 from 11am to 3pm at Hampshire Square, Hampshire Road, Sunshine (next to the Brimbank Community and Civic Centre). Activities will include mini tennis, speed server, face painting and giveaways, plus the chance to watch the Australian Tennis Open on the big screen.
