Police seek witnesses to Cranbourne North aggravated burglary

It’s believed three unknown males gained entry to an Endeavour Drive residence about 11.20pm.

The trio were confronted by the occupant and a struggle occurred during which the victim was stabbed in the head with what is believed to be a pitchfork.

The offenders, wearing black hoodies, left the house and it’s not known if anything was stolen.

A 72-year-old Cranbourne North man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
