Police investigate the death of a woman in St Albans

Police responded to reports that a female had been stabbed at a property on Main Road east just before 12.30am.

Emergency services attended and located the woman with life threatening injuries.

The yet to be formally identified woman died on the way to hospital.

The exact circumstances surrounding the death are yet to be determine but investigators are treating the woman’s death as suspicious.
