Police investigate Eltham indecent assault

A car pulled up beside a 22-year-old woman in the vicinity of Main Road in Eltham on 28 May about between 12.45am and 1.20am.

The male driver offered the woman a lift, believing it was a ride share service car, she got inside.

Investigators have been told the male driver sexually assaulted the woman in his car before dropping her off at another address in Eltham.

The vehicle was described as a late model four door sedan, white or grey in colour with an all black interior.

The man is perceived to be of Indian appearance, aged in his 20s or 30s, with large brown eyes, short spikey hair, a long thin nose and slight stubble.
