One deceased following bus crash in Apollo Bay

It is believed the bus, towing a trailer, has left the road just after 5pm and rolled.

One person died at the scene, a second person was trapped beneath the bus but was freed and taken to hospital in a serious condition.

The driver has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The remaining 22 occupants are being treated for minor injuries.

The exact cause of the crash is being investigated and anyone who witnessed the incident or with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 00.
