Charges following Clayton South shooting

Police have charged a man in relation to a shooting incident in Clayton South on 21 June.

It is alleged a man discharged a firearm into the fence of a Westall Road building site about 3.30pm.
Three men who were present on the site were unharmed.
The 31-year-old Frankston man was arrested without incident during a planned arrest at an address on McMahons Road in Frankston this afternoon with the assistance of the Special Operations Group and Fugitive Task Force.
He has been charged with prohibited person possess firearm, prohibited person use firearm, reckless conduct endangering life, and drug possession offences
He will face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
