Cannabis Crop Goes up in Flames at Springvale

Emergency services were called to the Rosalie Street address after passers-by saw smoke coming from the building at 11.30pm.

CFA firefighters forced entry into the factory and located an extensive hydroponic set up growing 100s of semi-mature cannabis plants.

No one was present at the factory at the time of the fire, thought to have been caused by an electrical fault.
