Updated location re fatal shooting in Ringwood

Emergency services were initially called to Barkly Street about 1.05am on Tuesday, 17 April following reports a man had been shot.

Investigators have now confirmed that the victim, a 28-year-old Essendon man, was shot on Wantirna Road between Arlington Street and Barkly Street around 1am.

Detectives are appealing for anyone in the area around this time, particularly anyone driving along Wantirna Road in Ringwood, to come forward.
