Sunshine pharmacy armed robbery

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Sunshine pharmacy on 4 August.

Investigators have been told a man armed with a machete entered the Devonshire Road store about 9.15pm and made demands for medication before searching the dispensary.

He then fled the store with a small amount of cash towards the Sunshine Railway Station on Clarke Street.

The man is perceived to be of African appearance and about 170cm tall with a thin build.

He was wearing a dark hooded jacket, black beanie and light-coloured pants at the time.

The man was also seen carrying a black backpack.

Police have released CCTV and an image of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.
