Sexual assault at Melbourne concert venue

Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are investigating an incident at the Batman Avenue venue on 6 August.

It’s believed a man approached a teenage girl during the concert and sexually assaulted her.

Police have released a picture of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.

He is described as being about 162cm tall, with a medium build, brown short, wavy hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion.

Investigators are also looking into whether the man may have approached other patrons at the concert, or at another concert at the same venue on the following night.

Anyone who believes they may have had involvement with the man or witnessed any other incidents is urged to contact police.
