Police seek witnesses to Brookfield aggravated burglary

It is believed three men attended at the Hungerford Drive house just after 6am and attempted to gain entry via the front door.

The female occupant retreated from the home and the trio attempted to gain entry to the rear of the house.

It’s believed the three offenders fled the scene on small motorbikes that they had parked on the front lawn.

The 69-year-old victim was not injured during the incident but later discovered her handbag and wallet was stolen.

The men are described as wearing black/dark coats with hoods and balaclavas over their faces.
