Police investigate fatal industrial accident at Mill Park

Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the death of a worker at a Mill Park factory yesterday afternoon.

The 57-year-old Delahey man was found sitting on the floor of the Heath Court factory at 5.30pm.
The man told fellow workers that he had fallen from a ladder and was suffering from a sore back.
The man was taken to a near-by clinic and on their advice was conveyed to hospital.
At hospital the man’s health deteriorated and he passed away just after 10pm.
Police and Worksafe will investigate the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
