Police investigate Cobram firearms incident

Police are appealing for public assistance after shots were fired at a Cobram property on Wednesday night (20 March).

Police have been told a number of shots were fired at two residential properties when families with young children were home.

The first incident occurred on Cedar Court about 10pm.

A woman and her three young children were at home at the time.

The second incident occurred minutes later, when about nine shot were fired at a house on Blackwood Crescent about 10pm.

Two adults and four children were home at the time and were not injured.

Cobram Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and ask that anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
