Nasser El Kheir arrested

The 55-year-old has been charged with 17 offences, including discharge firearm at premises, reckless conduct endangering life, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, criminal damage, use a loaded firearm in a public place, possess handgun, prohibited person possess firearm, use firearm whilst under the influence of intoxicating liquor, and seven counts of common law assault.

He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 2 October.

The charges relate to an alleged shooting at a café on Olsen Place, Broadmeadows on 19 June.
