Man dies following Sunshine West incident

The 34-year-old Sunshine West man was located by police on Drinkwater Crescent near Talintyre Road shortly after 1.10am on 30 July and transported to hospital.

The man passed away in hospital overnight.

A man in his 30s was spoken to by police on Monday, however he was released without charge.

A second person, a 31-year-old Braybrook man, was interviewed by police yesterday and released pending further enquiries.

The investigation by the Homicide Squad remains ongoing.

A post mortem examination will be conducted this morning to assist in establishing the cause of death.
