Footscray theft and subsequent deceptions

Footscray police are investigating a theft and subsequent credit-card deceptions which occurred in Footscray last month.

Investigators have been told that a purse containing the credit cards was stolen from a staff member at a hospital on Eleanor Street in Footscray on 23 October.
The credit cards were then used a number of times at a Maribyrnong shopping centre and a supermarket in Melton to purchase cigarettes and mobile phone accessories.
Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
