Detectives investigate shooting at Chadstone

Police have been told a 40-year-old Ashwood man and a 37-year-old Bentleigh man were walking along Woonah Street when they were both shot by an unknown offender just after 5am.

Both men received a single gun-shot wound to the lower body and were taken to The Alfred hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives are currently on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone with information.
