Detectives investigate Footscray aggravated burglary

Investigators have been told two unknown men attended a unit on Trugo Lane just after 7.30pm on Friday 2 March.
One of the men, wearing a red t-shirt, entered the premises while the other man wearing a white t-shirt waited outside.
A 59-year-old man disturbed the offender who then stole his mobile phone and wallet before fleeing the scene.
The victim immediately collapsed and shouted out to his neighbours who came to his aid.
The Footscray man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
It is believed the offender left the scene with the other man on Irving Street.
Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating and have released images and CCTV of two men that may be able to assist with their enquiries.
