Caught out in Canterbury

Two people have been arrested after a routine intercept unveiled a car full of drugs last night (16 July).

Camberwell police were patrolling the Canterbury area when they intercepted a car on Canterbury Road about 9.40pm.
A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered a small quantity of cannabis and GHB as well as a commercial quantity of ice and some prescription medication, including Viagra.
The driver, a 33-year-old Templestowe man, and his 25-year-old female passenger from Western Australia were arrested at the scene.
They are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
