Brimbank Emergency Services on show at interactive expo

The interactive expo will offer the community a chance to learn about emergency management in Brimbank, to meet the people behind the services, and have some fun in the process.
Mayor of Brimbank, Cr Lucinda Congreve said the family-friendly expo would showcase all of the emergency service agencies involved in emergency management in Brimbank.
“This is the first time we’ve hosted an Emergency Services Expo in in Brimbank.
“Council works closely with emergency services agencies as part of our emergency management responsibilities.
“This expo is a great opportunity for the community to get a better understanding of the services these agencies provide and have fun at the same time,” the Mayor said.
The following emergency service agencies will be at the expo:
- Ambulance Victoria
- Australian Federal Police
- Australian Red Cross
- Brimbank State Emergency Services
- Metropolitan Fire Brigade
- St John’s Ambulance and
- Victoria Police
There will also be emergency services promotional vehicles, interactive sessions, kids’ activities, give-aways, and a chance to meet emergency services officers.
The Brimbank Emergency Services Expo is hosted by Brimbank Council, in partnership with Watergardens Town Centre.
The Expo will be held on Saturday 6 April 2019, 10am-4pm, Station Streat, Watergardens Town Centre, 399 Melton Hwy, Taylors Lakes.
